Service Technician
Job Overview:We are seeking a motivated and reliable POS Technician/Salesman to provide both remote (phone) and on-site technical support for restaurant and retail clients. This role also includes sales support and system installations for Point of Sale (POS), networking, VoIP phone, and surveillance systems.Key Responsibilities:Provide phone and on-site technical support to customersInstall, configure, and maintain POS systemsTroubleshoot network issues (WAN/LAN, routers, switches)Install and maintain VoIP phone systemsPerform structured cabling and Cat6 terminationsDeliver in-office and on-site customer trainingStage, configure, and test systems prior to deploymentSupport sales efforts for hardware and system solutionsSkills & Qualifications:Strong problem-solving and analytical abilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to present information effectively to individuals and small groupsExperience troubleshooting network connectivity issuesSales aptitude or willingness to recommend solutions to customers is a plusCat6 TerminationTechnical Knowledge:Familiarity with PC hardware, peripherals, and Microsoft operating systemsNetwork technologies (routers, switches)Structured cabling and Cat5 terminationBasic understanding of restaurant operations (preferred)Requirements:Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license with a clean driving recordAbility to travel to customer locations as neededAbility to pass a background checkMust be available and willing to participate in an after-hours on-call rotationSchedule:Full-time: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PMAfter-hours on-call rotation:Monday–Friday: 4:30 PM–11:00 PMSaturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM–11:00 PMPhone, vehicle, and benefits provided after completion of probation.Job Type: Full-time
