With a commitment to high-quality execution, SOLID ensures efficiency and reliability in the construction process.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Chief  Concrete/Masonry Estimator role based in Fairfield, NJ. The Senior Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for concrete and masonry projects. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing blueprints, evaluating specifications, assessing material and labor costs, liaising with subcontractors and suppliers, and producing accurate project cost proposals. Collaboration with project teams will also be required to meet client and company expectations.QualificationsExpertise in Formwork and FlatworkStrong knowledge of Ready Mix Concrete and Heavy EquipmentExperience in Carpentry and its applications in masonryExcellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skillsProficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specificationsFamiliarity with project management software and estimating tools is a plusProven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholdersBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred of minimum 10 years experiencePrevious experience in concrete and masonry estimation is required
