Industrial Laundry Installer

Job Description Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking an Installer to support the installation, setup, and customer training of commercial laundry equipment throughout the North Texas region. This is an entry-level field position designed for candidates who are mechanically inclined and interested in growing into a Field Service Technician role. The Installer will travel throughout the assigned territory including DFW, Amarillo, Longview, Waco, Lubbock, and Palestine, assisting with equipment installations, customer startup support, and delivery logistics. Candidates must be comfortable towing and operating a 20 ft trailer and working in industrial environments.Essential Duties:Install, set, and start up commercial laundry equipment at customer locations.Provide basic operational training and support to customers after equipment installation.Assist with unloading, rigging, transporting, and positioning industrial equipment safely.Operate and tow a 20 ft trailer to transport equipment and materials throughout the assigned territory.Assist senior technicians with plumbing, electrical, pneumatic, steam, and mechanical connections.Read and follow installation manuals, schematics, drawings, and work instructions.Travel throughout North Texas including DFW, Amarillo, Longview, Waco, Lubbock, Palestine, Arkansas, and Oklahoma.Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle/trailer in good working condition.Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.Communicate professionally with customers and team members on job progress and installation status.Support warehouse, delivery, and installation operations as needed.Requirements/Skills:Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand and power tools.Experience installing or assisting with industrial or commercial equipment preferred.Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, pneumatic, or mechanical systems preferred.Must be comfortable towing and driving a 20 ft trailer.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.Ability to travel frequently within the assigned North Texas territory.Ability to work from written and verbal instructions.Strong customer service and communication skills.Forklift experience is requiredMust be dependable, self-motivated, and willing to learn.Ability to work overtime as needed.High school diploma or equivalent required.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift and move equipment and materials up to 50 lbs.Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and in industrial environments safely.Requires extended standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing.Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.Ability to safely handle tools, equipment, and machinery during installations.Equal Opportunity Statement:Flexicrew Technical Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer; employment with FTS is governed on the basis of merit, competence, and qualifications.
