Laser Programmer/Operator

Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Laser Programmer/Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming and operating the CNC laser cutting machine, ensuring precision and quality in the production of components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, programming, blueprint reading, and basic math skills. The Laser Operator will play a crucial role in maintaining production efficiency and adhering to safety standards. Responsibilities Program and operate laser cutting machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements. Perform routine maintenance on laser equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize production processes. Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely when required. Skills Proficiency in programming and operating laser cutting machines with attention to detail. Strong blueprint reading abilities to interpret technical drawings accurately. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining individual accountability.
