A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - ER Job Details: • Work 36/48 hour alternating schedule with 84 hours biweekly and 72 hour guarantee • Block scheduling with weekend coverage required • Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends • 48 hours of orientation provided • Care for patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics • Work in 62-room emergency department with daily census of 190 patients • 3 years of experience preferred, 2 years accepted if from high volume/trauma facility • First-time travelers not accepted • Travel experience required • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS • EPIC charting system experience preferred • Trauma Level II experience preferred • Must have skills in triage, emergency medications, IV management, blood product administration, arterial line management, central line care, ventilator care, chest tube management, and wound care • Experience with stroke certified and STEMI certified facility procedures preferred • Must be comfortable managing psychiatric patients, trauma cases, and procedural sedation • 50-mile local radius restriction applies • License must be in-hand before start date • Complete lab requirements within 72 hours of offer acceptance • Documentation due 3 business days prior to start date • Complete 2-3 hours of modules during first 16 hours of orientation Facility: This healthcare organization operates a high-volume emergency department that serves as a Level II trauma center with STEMI and stroke certification.
