Landscape Project Manager

*Job Overview* Solid Grounds installs landscapes for homeowners, HOAs, and commercial properties across the Front Range. We are hiring a Landscape Project Manager to lead our install division out of our Longmont shop. This is the person who helps turn a design plan into a finished landscape. You will order materials, keep the subs and crews moving, help train the people doing the work, and join the client for the final walk. You will typically have three to four projects going at once and follow each one through from the first delivery to the final punch list. It is a hands on leadership role. Your days will move between job sites, the shop yard, and the phone, working through what comes up when a design meets real dirt. In this position you will work directly with our Landscape Operations Manager. This is a team environment. Crew supervisors, designers, the irrigation tech, and the shop all pull in the same direction to get a job done right, and you will have their support on every project you run. *Responsibilities* _Projects and schedule_ * Build, maintain, and adjust install project schedules to keep jobs on track for on time completion. * Review design plans and determine material requirements, labor needs, and timelines for each job. * Lead multiple crews across concurrent projects, setting expectations, assignments, and priorities for crew supervisors. _Materials and subcontractors_ * Coordinate material deliveries and sub work so the right material and the right people arrive on schedule. * Source materials, disposal, and repairs cost effectively. * Keep the shop yard organized so excess material gets reused instead of thrown away. _Clients and communication_ * Serve as the bridge between clients, designers, HOA representatives, and field crews. * Translate and interpret between management, clients, and crews so nothing gets lost. * Conduct final walks with the client and a final irrigation walk with our irrigation tech. _Job costing and profitability_ * Track actual labor and material cost against the estimate every day a job is active. * Present final job cost, budget versus actual, to the Landscape Operations Manager within a week of completion. * Manage time and material on every job to protect project margin. _Team, equipment, and warranty_ * Train crew members on installation standards, safety, equipment use, and our quality expectations. * Work with the shop foreman on truck and equipment maintenance, and log service records. * Handle warranty items and follow through to client satisfaction. _Winter_ * Serve as a snow captain during snow and ice season.
