Shipping & Receiving Associate

DescriptionQ-Lab Corporation is currently seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate. This position will be responsible serving as the primary point of contact for all inbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate receipt of products, materials, and supplies in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary point of contact for all inbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate receipt of products, materials, and supplies in a fast-paced environmentPromptly unload trucks and deliveries, verify contents against purchase orders, and resolve discrepancies with urgency and attention to detailOrganize and store received items in designated locations, maintaining a clean, efficient, and highly organized warehouseCommunicate clearly and proactively with suppliers, drivers, and internal teams regarding delivery status, issues, and prioritiesManage return shipments for incorrect, damaged, or non-conforming items, ensuring timely processing and proper documentationPick, pack, and ship orders using appropriate packaging methods and banding equipment, including palletizing large, heavy, or oversized itemsVerify all shipment details (item number, quantity, shipping method, and destination) to ensure complete accuracy prior to dispatchPrepare and complete all shipping documentation accurately and on time in coordination with the Order DeskMaintain accurate records by tracking all shipping transactions and documentation within the systemSafely load high-value capital equipment onto trucks using a motorized forklift for LTL, OTR, and container shipmentsParticipate in the preparation and execution of periodic cycle and physical inventory counts.Required Skills/ExperiencePrevious warehouse or receiving experience in a fast-paced environmentHigh school educationWilling to work overtime as needed (including weekends)Ability to lift 50 lbsAbility to operate a motorized fork lift (~50% of the day)Desired Skills/ExperienceExperience working with UPS and FedEx a plusLift truck experience/trainingWho We AreQ-Lab Corporation is a global leader in providing material durability testing products.
