Job Overview
As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, you will play a crucial role in assessing and treating individuals with behavioral challenges, particularly those diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Your expertise will contribute to the development and implementation of effective behavior intervention plans to improve the quality of life for your clients.
Duties
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments to identify behavioral needs
- Develop individualized behavior intervention plans based on data collection and analysis
- Implement behavioral therapy techniques to address challenging behaviors
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Experience
- Possession of Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Experience working with children or individuals with autism spectrum disorder
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis for treatment planning
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health
- Familiarity with behavioral therapy techniques and interventions
- Ability to collaborate effectively with professionals and families of individuals with autism
