Intern: Social Media and Design (Art Gallery)

Internship: Social Media & Design AssistantUnder the supervision of the gallery curator, you will:Develop and implement a consistent social media strategy across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) to promote exhibitions, events, and artists.Design digital and print materials, including event graphics, flyers, postcards, and exhibition signage.Photograph and/or film exhibitions, programs, and events for marketing purposes.Create engaging content such as reels, artist spotlights, and behind-the-scenes features.Collaborate with the curator and artists to ensure visual materials reflect the gallery’s aesthetic and mission.RequirementsClear written and visual communicatorProficiency in social media platformsExperience with graphic design software (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)Photography/videography experience preferred but not requiredSelf-starter and collaboratorFriendly and flexibleInterest in art, design, and creative community engagementCandidate must be enrolled in a higher educational program, with this role fulfilling an internship requirement. Ideally, 5-10 hours/week for 9 weeks.
