Lead Estimator

Job Description: Protech Construction Group, Inc is seeking an Estimator to join our team in Florida. This position will be responsible for following up on leads, Etimating projects, turning leads into sales and client retention. This position requires working closely with Project management to transition etimated projects into executed projects. There will be a base salary with commision bonus. Potential to become an owner of the company. Responsibilities: Prepare estimates for clients based on project requirements Communicate with clients and other team members to ensure project is on track Prepare cost reports for projects Communicate with clients regarding project status Communicate with Project Managers to ensure project is on track Work with Project Managers to ensure project is on track Communicate with clients regarding project status Other duties as assigned by manager Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Estimating or Construction Management. Estimating experience preferred. Strong knowledge of construction estimating methods and procedures, including but not limited to, AIA AF&A, Bidding, and Cost Estimating. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to work in a team environment. Strong communication skills. Ability to plan and prepare written estimates. Ability to prepare written estimates using computer software programs such as Planswift, quick bids, Excel, and PowerPoint.
