Job DescriptionIMMI is seeking a qualified and highly motivated individual to fill the role of Director of IT Infrastructure. The Director reports directly to the VP of Information Technology and manages the primary functional groups of the IT Infrastructure team, consisting of Networking & Telephony, Systems Administration, and Help Desk.IMMI is a growing manufacturing company started in 1961. IMMI is a dynamic company serving over eleven different markets, for hundreds of customers, in multiple countries.LOCATION: Onsite- Westfield, IN with hybrid flexibilityEssential Functions: Infrastructure Strategy & Planning Develop and execute IT infrastructure strategies aligned with global business objectives and growth plans. Drive adoption of automation, cloud solutions, and emerging technologies to enhance scalability and efficiency. Establish KPIs, SLAs, and performance benchmarks for infrastructure operations. Collaborate with executive leadership and business units to ensure infrastructure initiatives support evolving technology needs. Network, Systems & Cloud Management Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise systems, including networks, servers, storage, and data centers. Manage hybrid cloud environments (Azure, AWS) and virtualization platforms. Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance across all IT systems. Direct implementation of scalable, cost-effective technology solutions across plants and offices. Cybersecurity, Compliance & Risk Management Oversee cybersecurity strategies, monitoring, and threat mitigation. Implement disaster recovery, backup solutions, and business continuity planning. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and corporate IT policies. Monitor emerging infrastructure trends, threats, and compliance requirements. Project & Vendor Management Lead global infrastructure projects, upgrades, and technology rollouts on schedule and within budget. Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service-level agreements for hardware, software, and services. Collaborate with application development, security, and business teams to integrate systems and infrastructure. Oversee IT budgets and resource allocation for infrastructure operations. Leadership & Team Development Build, mentor, and lead high-performing infrastructure and operations teams. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and technical excellence. Provide guidance and support to ensure alignment of infrastructure initiatives with business needs. Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred). 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles managing enterprise infrastructure. Expertise in network architecture, server virtualization, storage, cloud computing (Azure, AWS), and cybersecurity. Proven experience leading infrastructure initiatives in multi-site or global manufacturing or enterprise environments. Strong skills in vendor management, budgeting, strategic planning, and project execution. Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Knowledge of disaster recovery, business continuity, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
