Under the guidance and supervision of the Director of the Clinical Resource and Simulation Center (CRSC) the Adjunct Lab Nursing Instructor develops, implements, and evaluates evidenced-based activities in the Clinical Resource Simulation Center Lab.
Participates in simulation activities as primary instructor and demonstrates nursing skills and techniques to students.
Uses information technologies skillfully to support teaching-learning process including the use of high-fidelity human simulators.
Essential Functions
Facilitation of learning experiences.
Knowledge of and participation in developing the nursing Lab curriculum.
Evaluation of students' skills/simulations performance and ability to meet competencies of the program based on course objectives and program outcomes.
Identifies and supports the needs of the students to provide a quality learning experience.
Perform other duties as required. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Weekend and evening hours may be required.
