Asset Management Associate - Industrials

Our elite global Alternative Investment Fund client is seeking to recruit an Asset Management Associate to provide analytical and portfolio management support to the investment team focused on aviation special situations investing, financing, leasing and asset acquisitions ($7B AUM investment portfolio).Responsibilities:Provide analytical and portfolio management support to the investment team focused on aviation special situations investing, financing, leasing and asset acquisitionsPerform capital structure analysis, complex financial modeling, industry research, data/risk driver analysis, dashboard/report development, asset management and capital raising support Leverage data, financial models and analytics to provide thought leadership insight to the investment teamSupport all facets of the portfolio, new deal due diligence and investment value realizationCollaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to support asset management activitiesMaintain internal systems and develop analytical tools and automationAssist with strategic initiatives, investment return optimization and capital formationAttend and participate in industry events and board meetingsRequirements:Bachelor's Degree with strong academic record2+ years of portfolio management, asset management or strategic finance experienceAviation finance or aircraft leasing experience strongly preferredDemonstrated capital structure analysis and advanced financial modeling skills requiredStrong data and risk analytics knowledgeAdvanced Excel skills with the demonstrated ability to analyze complex datasets, create dashboards and build analytical toolsAdvanced PowerPoint skillsPower BI, Tableau or other business intelligence tools a strong plusAbility to synthesize and disseminate complex data into actionable recommendations and communicate insights with key stakeholdersAdvanced communication, interpersonal and business writing skills
