This is a full-time position that will teach one 8th grade Finance course and a plethora of business courses at the high school level, including Personal Finance. We are seeking an innovative Business Teacher to join our forward-thinking team, where you will inspire students to build self-knowledge and explore personalized career pathways in a supportive, rural Wisconsin environment that values every learner.ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:Teaching a range of high school business courses, which may expand all grade levels and abilities from our beginning freshman to our advanced upperclassmenTeach an 8th grade finance courseDeveloping and implementing engaging, standards-aligned curriculum and lesson plans.Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and learning.Assessing student progress and providing timely, constructive feedback.Collaborating with the CTE department and other faculty members to enhance the overall educational experience.Supervising student activities, clubs, or co-curricular programs as needed.Attending and participating in professional development opportunities and faculty meetingsCommunicating effectively with parents/guardians regarding student performance and classroom activities.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Education or a related field.Valid Wisconsin teaching license in Business Education (or eligibility to obtain one).Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in business instruction and classroom management.Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.Experience with technology integration in the classroom is preferred.
