Qualified Candidates will possess the following:
Attention to Detail: Pay close attention to detail in all aspects of food preparation, from ingredient selection to plating presentation. Ensure that every dish meets the exacting standards expected by the Chef team.
Passion for Excellence: Demonstrate a passion for culinary excellence and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences to guests. Strive for continuous improvement and innovation in both technique and presentation.
Menu Development: Contribute to the development of new dishes and menu items. Provide input on flavor combinations, plating techniques, and ingredient sourcing to enhance the overall dining experience.
Love For Training and Mentorship: Assist in training new kitchen staff and mentoring junior cooks. Share knowledge and expertise to help develop their skills and maintain consistency in food preparation.
Pasta Maker’s Job Responsibilities:
Make fresh batches of pasta dough, daily.
Shape pasta dough and portion per serving
Operate commercial mixer and pasta machine
Be an integral part of providing a world-class culinary experience
Work in a safe, clean manner paying attention to the quality and sanitation of the product
Prepare all menu items according to recipe requirements
Work with speed and efficiency to ensure proper and timely output of restaurant menu items
Ensure proper execution of recipe procedures to maintain a high quality and consistency of product
Help maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area throughout your shift
Ensure proper rotation of all products to par
Follow all proper food safety practices and kitchen safety practices
Continue to improve upon existing skill set
Adherence to Company and Policies and Procedures
Passion for food, beverage and hospitality
Ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast paced environment
Team oriented mentality
Dependability
Work closely with Executive Chef and Sous Chef team
Required Experience:
Knowledge of both classic and current food and beverage trends
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an upscale, high-volume kitchen setting
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be a team player with a strong work ethic
Ability to lift, move, carry 40 – 50 lb bags, boxes, crates
