General Surgery/Acute Care Surgery FellowshipGeneral Surgery/Acute Care Surgery Fellowship at Queens Hospital in Jamaica, NY. has four open spots available starting 6/22/26. You will function as a senior resident and run our surgical service both in and out of the operating room along with five house officers and 17 surgical PA's. You will sit for the 2027 ABSITE exam in January 2027. You will be mentored. The goal of this fellowship is to get you back into a residency program and complete your General Surgery training. We will also consider a recent General Surgery graduate who needs a bridge year before starting fellowship or someone who has failed their written or oral boards multiple times and needs to regain eligibility.Requirements:CVCompletion of three years general surgery resident training PGY 1, 2, & 3 at an ACGME program (This is a Queens Hospital medical board requirement for privileges).New York State medical license or limited permit.Three letters of recommendation (one should be from your program director).Recent ABSITE scores.We do not sponsor J-1 VISAS.Bruce L.
