If you're passionate about employee engagement, operational excellence, and creating an environment where team members can truly thrive, we want to connect with you.What You'll DoLead all aspects of the HR function, including recruitment, employee relations, talent development, and compliancePartner with hotel leadership to align people strategies with business goalsDrive innovative recruiting and retention initiatives to build a high-performing teamChampion employee engagement and foster a positive, inclusive workplace cultureEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulationsGuide performance management processes and support leadership developmentServe as a resource and advisor for managers and team members on HR-related mattersStay ahead of industry trends and implement best practices to continuously elevate the employee experienceWhat You BringBachelor's degree or a minimum of 4 years of HR experience (hospitality experience preferred)Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including EEO, FMLA, ADA, and OSHAProven experience in recruiting, retention, and employee relationsAbility to interpret and apply employment laws while advising property leadershipExperience leading engagement, performance management, and talent development programsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levelsAbility to manage a diverse workforce with professionalism and cultural awarenessHigh level of integrity, discretion, and sound judgmentFlexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, ever-changing environmentExperience with Affirmative Action programs is a plusSHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferredWhy Join Us?At Hilton Garden Inn Emeryville, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impactshaping culture, developing talent, and helping create an exceptional workplace experience.
