The hybrid model provides on-site collaboration while still allowing flexibility for focused development work.How You Will Make an ImpactDesign and build Python-based backend applications and services from the ground upDevelop and optimize SQL-driven data integrations supporting business and technical workflowsTranslate requirements into scalable system designs and clearly articulate architectural decisionsBuild and consume RESTful APIs and integrate third-party servicesWrite clean, efficient, well-documented Python code following engineering best practicesPerform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure reliabilityParticipate in code reviews and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processesCollaborate with cross-functional teams including product, data, and infrastructure partnersDo you bring proven success in building Python applications from the ground up?10+ years of professional software development experience with strong recent hands-on codingAdvanced proficiency in Python for backend and application developmentStrong SQL expertise with experience designing and optimizing complex queriesDemonstrated experience building applications end-to-end, not just maintaining existing frameworksSolid understanding of system design, application architecture, and data modelingExperience developing and integrating RESTful APIs and backend servicesStrong grasp of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithmsAbility to clearly explain technical concepts and architectural tradeoffsExperience working in agile or fast-paced delivery environmentsExposure to cloud platforms, DevOps tooling, or CI/CD pipelines is a plus
