AT WILL" TEAM MEMBER JOB DESCRIPTION POSITION TITLE: Engineer REPORTS TO: Processing Manager POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Engineer will be responsible for locating causes of egg processing equipment malfunction, repairing broken parts and engineering preventative activities for both buildings and equipment. In addition, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and monitoring all aspects of egg processing equipment functionality and ensuring all run optimally to minimize downtime. Also, you will maintain all bio-security measures in order to minimize the transfer of disease between poultry locations. As with every role at the Company, other tasks may be necessary as deemed by management. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:· Develop, coordinate, and monitor all aspects of egg processing equipment.· Ensure that all egg processing machinery, systems, infrastructure, and equipment run optimally with minimal downtime.· Investigate and troubleshoot equipment malfunction and make recommendations for improvement.· Recommend repairs and/or replace defective equipment and/or parts following malfunction.· Clean, maintain, repair, and lubricate processing machinery and its parts.· Maintain and oversee overall cleanliness and proper functioning of the egg processing buildings, tools, and machinery.· Monitor computer systems for all processing vitals (flow, efficiency, and optimization).· Daily communication with site Managers and other engineering and/or maintenance staff regarding any issues and to provide technical information.· Oversee installation, operation, or repair to ensure that machines or equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications. Regulate the upkeep and operation of egg processing generator.QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:· An electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, agriculture engineering, or similar degree is required · Being able to operate skid loader, tractor, forklift, Pick-up truck, and/ or semi-tractor is preferred but not required· Perform other engineering tasks as necessary to ensure optimal performances of all machinery. ·Must have an Intermediate English-speaking level or higher. WORK ENVIRONMENT:Must possess the ability to work in an agricultural environment, indoors, outdoors, office, warehouse, processing, and farm production areas each varying in temperature, and other environment-specific atmospheres.
