MAINTENANCE TECH III
Overview
As a Maintenance Tech III one will perform advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment and facility systems to ensure reliable, efficient, and safe operations in a high-precision manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production machinery, facility utilities, and supporting systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures using advanced diagnostic tools and technical expertise.
Complete and document maintenance work orders in the CMMS, ensuring accurate records of repairs, parts usage, and downtime.
Install, align, calibrate, and commission machinery and equipment following OEM specifications and safety standards.
Support process engineers and production teams in resolving equipment issues and improving equipment performance.
Assist with maintaining spare parts inventory and identifying critical spare needs in coordination with the Maintenance Planner.
Ensure compliance with plant safety standards, including LOTO, arc flash safety, confined space procedures, and PPE use.
Participate in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives (RCA, 5-Why, TPM) to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
Read, understand, and apply mechanical/electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals during troubleshooting and repair.
Provide shift coverage, respond to emergency maintenance calls, and support production needs during off-hours or overtime when required.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
Industrial maintenance experience at a Technician II or III level, preferably in a manufacturing or high-precision environment.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, including experience with motors, drives, sensors, relays, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
Proficiency using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, thermal cameras, vibration analyzers, and alignment tools.
Experience working with CMMS systems (SAP PM, Maximo, Fiix, or equivalent).
Familiarity with capacitor manufacturing equipment such as winding machines, ovens, presses, coating systems, and vacuum systems is a plus.
Knowledge of TPM, 5S, lean principles, and reliability-focused maintenance best practices.
Strong understanding of safety procedures, including LOTO, hazard communication, machine guarding, and electrical safety.
Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and OEM technical documentation.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills with strong attention to detail.
Willingness to work flexible hours, rotating shifts, and overtime to support production demands.
Minimum education – High School Diploma or GED

Compensation: $30 - $35 / hour
