We are currently seeking a Materials Coordinator to join our Warehouse department.The Materials Coordinator will be responsible for the timely and accurate release of all materials from inventory to support the facility production plan. The Materials Coordinator will utilize our ERP system, company processes, and procedures to maintain efficient and accurate inventories to support production needs.
Job Description:
Partner with inventory and warehouse functions during the cycle counting process to ensure inventory accuracy
Ensure that the correct materials are being used, as designated on the technical drawing
Ensure the correct amounts of material are being used, as designated on the job traveler
Monitor inventory levels, analyze data, identify performance gaps and/or opportunities for improvement, plan and execute adjustments to improve efficiency of inventory movement
Assist in documenting and reporting root causes related to inventory discrepancies
Verify that the yield information on the job traveler is correct and facilitate the correction when necessary
Monitor the inventory level of materials
Track all breakage in warehouse and on production floor
Demonstrate knowledge of supply chain concepts
Work closely with the production planner/scheduler to ensure adequate inventory is available at the time of production
Other duties, as assigned by management
Hours: 7am - 4pm, Monday through Friday
Overtime and weekend work may be required or asked as job duties demand
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to understand Bill of Materials, as well as navigate engineering drawings
Have an understanding of how to work with a team
Must possess basic computer operation skills
Ability to complete basic math and read a tape measure
Forklift experience is preferred, but not required
Some experience in manufacturing
Some experience in inventory and/or cycle counting
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 40 lbs for 3+ hours per shift
Ability to stand and walk for up to 8.5 hours
Ability to bend and squat
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
