Data Analyst
Data AnalystWe are seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst to support enterprise data management, governance, analytics, and emerging AI initiatives within a regulated financial services environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in data analysis, data governance, data quality management, reporting, and cloud-based data platforms, along with foundational knowledge of AI/ML technologies.This role will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, data stewards, engineers, and product teams to ensure the availability of high-quality, trusted, and compliant data assets while supporting the organization's AI-driven transformation initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze large financial and operational datasets to identify trends, patterns, risks, and business opportunities.Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and analytical reports using visualization tools.Translate business requirements into actionable data insights and reporting solutions.Support strategic and operational decision-making through data-driven recommendations.Implement and maintain enterprise data governance policies, standards, and controls.Manage data quality initiatives, including profiling, monitoring, validation, and remediation activities.Support metadata management, data lineage, master data management (MDM), and data catalog initiatives.Maintain data dictionaries, business glossaries, governance documentation, and stewardship processes.Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational data governance requirements.Support cloud-based data platform initiatives using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Participate in data migration, integration, ETL, and automation projects.Collaborate with engineering teams to improve data accessibility, reliability, and scalability.Assist in data lifecycle management and process optimization efforts.Prepare, validate, and govern datasets used for AI and Machine Learning solutions.Support AI initiatives involving: Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Agentic AI, Machine Learning Models.Assist in testing, monitoring, and evaluating AI-powered applications and workflows.Ensure AI-related data assets meet governance, compliance, and quality standards.Partner with product managers, engineers, business analysts, compliance teams, and data stewards.Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable data and analytics solutions.Support governance councils, data stewardship activities, and cross-functional initiatives.Required Skills & Qualifications5–6 years of experience in Data Analysis, Data Management, or Data Governance roles.Strong SQL expertise for data extraction, analysis, validation, and reporting.Experience with Data Governance frameworks and best practices.Hands-on experience with: Data Quality Management, Metadata Management, Data Lineage, Master Data Management (MDM), Data Stewardship.Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker.Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration methodologies.Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Preferred QualificationsExperience within Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, or other regulated industries.Exposure to AI/ML concepts and technologies.Familiarity with: Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Agentic AI, Machine Learning workflows.Understanding of regulatory compliance, risk management, and data privacy requirements.Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure in addition to GCP.Knowledge of data catalog and governance tools.Essential SkillsSQLData Analysis & AnalyticsData GovernanceData Quality ManagementMetadata ManagementData LineageMaster Data Management (MDM)Reporting & VisualizationPower BI / Tableau / LookerGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP)Data IntegrationETLRegulatory ComplianceAI/ML FundamentalsLarge Language Models (LLMs)Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)Agentic AIStakeholder ManagementCompany Benefits & CultureInclusive and diverse work environmentOpportunities for professional growth and developmentComprehensive health and wellness benefits
