Collaborate with U.S. and global teams to secure and successfully onboard new projects. Key Responsibilities Business Development & NetworkingBuild and maintain relationships with artists, curators, galleries, and institutionsIdentify and pursue new project opportunities across public and private art sectorsRepresent UAP at industry events, studio visits, and gallery openingsMaintain and track a pipeline of active opportunities and priority (“Hot List”) projectsCollaborate with internal teams to support early-stage concept development and client engagement Project Qualification & EstimationGather project requirements and assess fit with UAP capabilitiesCoordinate with Estimation and Delivery teams to define scope and pricingSupport internal commercial reviews to ensure project viabilityProposals & Client ManagementPrepare and present proposals outlining scope, timeline, and assumptionsReview client contracts and support leadership in negotiationsMaintain client relationships through project award and handoff to delivery teamsEnsure a smooth transition of awarded projects with clear alignment on scope and expectations Skills & QualificationsExperience in business development, client relations, or project-based salesArchitectural or Gallery experience would be helpful in this roleStrong communication and relationship-building skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office; Adobe InDesign preferredExperience with CRM tools (e.g., Zoho, Airtable)Basic knowledge of Rhino 3D is a plus Physical RequirementsAbility to sit for extended periods while working at a computer and using design softwareFrequent use of hands and fingers for typing, mouse use, and handling design tools or materialsAbility to view and interpret detailed drawings, plans, and computer screens for prolonged periodsOccasional standing, walking, bending, or reaching while reviewing prototypes or materialsAbility to lift and carry light to moderate items (typically up to 10–20 lbs), such as samples or drawingsMay require occasional visits to manufacturing facilities, workshops, or job sites, which can involve exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and environmentsAbility to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required in shop or field settingsAbility to travel occasionally to vendor sites, job sites, or other company locations Compensation & BenefitsBusiness Developer $75,000 - $90,000 annuallyMedical, dental, and vision insurance.Flexible spending accounts (medical, dependent care).Commuter and transit programs.401(k) retirement savings plan with 4% company match.Company-paid short-term and long-term disability and life insurancePaid holidays, Paid Time Off, and sick leave.Opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
