The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for supervising warehouse employees, managing equipment and inventory, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and efficient work environment. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and effective operation of our warehouse. Key Responsibilities: Employee Supervision: Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and perform their duties efficiently. Provide feedback and support as needed. Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance and proper use of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery. Ensure all equipment is in safe working condition and report any issues to management. Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and ensure accurate record-keeping. Coordinate with inventory teams to address discrepancies and implement solutions. Customer Satisfaction: Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment to meet customer expectations. Address and resolve any issues or concerns related to orders or deliveries promptly and professionally. Building Closure: Responsible for securing the building at the end of the shift, including locking doors, setting alarms, and ensuring all areas are clear and safe. Merchandise Tickets: Oversee the release and processing of all merchandise tickets, ensuring accuracy and timely handling of orders. Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. Implement and enforce cleanliness standards and safety protocols. Business Interests: Act in the best interests of the company, demonstrating a strong commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in warehouse management is a plus. Proven experience in a warehouse or distribution center, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Strong leadership and team management skills. At least 2 years RF Scanner, Forklift, Cherry Picker experience Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in warehouse management systems and basic computer applications. Ability to lift and move heavy items and work in a physically demanding environment. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset. Flexibility to work different shifts and adapt to changing priorities as needed.
