Senior Accountant Clearwater, FL Salary:$75,000-85,000About the Company:Why This Opportunity Stands Out:Our client is a dynamic, growing leader in the recreation industry, currently seeking aSenior Accountantto join their expanding team.Beautiful corporate office with bay views in downtown ClearwaterNationwide footprint with new facilities launching regularlyLaid-back, collaborative environment with strong opportunities for professional developmentThis is a great next step for a mid-level accounting professional ready to take on more responsibility and make an impact.The Senior Accountant will play a key role in financial reporting, analysis, and month-end close activities while working closely with leadership.Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and support the month-end and year-end closeEnsure financial statements are prepared accurately and in compliance with GAAPManage revenue recognition activities and assist in preparing financial reports for internal useReview and code credit card transactions for proper general ledger classificationOversee and approve employee travel and expense reimbursements to ensure compliance with company policiesMaintain accurate accounting records and ensure internal controls are followedSupport external audit efforts by preparing required documentation and schedulesAnalyze financial data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and operational improvementsPartner with the Controller on special projects and help streamline accounting processesQualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required3–5 years coming directly out of public accountingSolid understanding of GAAP and financial close processesStrong Excel skills and experience with accounting softwareDetail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skillsMust be comfortable with light travel#INAPR2026 #LI-TQ1 #LI-ONSITE
