Automotive Service Technician

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for automotive service. As a Certified Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintain a wide range of vehicles while ensuring safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Perform accurate diagnostics on engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and other vehicle components. Complete routine maintenance services including oil changes, fluid checks, and filter replacements. Conduct thorough inspections and identify necessary repairs to maintain vehicle performance and safety. Utilize diagnostic equipment, tools, and service manuals effectively. Provide clear and professional communication with customers regarding repair needs and service recommendations. Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely completion of repair orders. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Stay current on industry updates, manufacturer recalls, and new repair techniques. Experience ASE Certification or equivalent manufacturer training required. Previous experience as an automotive technician in a dealership or independent shop preferred. Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills. Ability to read and interpret repair manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical bulletins. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong customer service and communication skills.
