In this pivotal role, you will lead the development and integration of a cross-platform React Native application designed to discover, pair with, and control BLE hardware devices. Your expertise will drive the creation of a robust, secure, and user-centric mobile experience that supports real-time device management, over-the-air firmware updates, and offline-first capabilities. As a key technical leader, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the app meets high standards of performance, reliability, and security, ultimately delivering innovative solutions that enhance user engagement and operational efficiency.QualificationsExtensive experience with React Native development, including apps successfully deployed on both the App Store and Google Play.Proficiency in writing or integrating native modules using Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android).Strong understanding of mobile state management, asynchronous programming, and debugging on physical devices.Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocols, GATT services, and platform-specific identifier handling.Knowledge of secure credential storage solutions such as iOS Keychain and Android Keystore, along with biometric authentication, NFC, and QR code integrations.Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to handling edge cases and failure scenarios.Fluent in English with the ability to communicate effectively during US Eastern business hours.ResponsibilitiesLead the development of a cross-platform React Native app, ensuring seamless integration of native Bluetooth SDKs and modules.Design and implement BLE connection workflows, including pairing, locking/unlocking, and handling platform-specific identifier management.Develop features supporting real-time device status updates, such as battery life, firmware version, and connectivity status.Implement over-the-air firmware updates and offline-first behaviors, including pending-action queues and synchronization mechanisms.Ensure secure storage of credentials, biometric authentication, and device registration via NFC and QR codes.Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and uphold best practices in mobile development.Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies related to BLE, IoT, and mobile security to continually enhance the app’s capabilities.BenefitsJoin GrabJobs and enjoy a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your professional and personal growth.
