We are a growing technology infrastructure company focused on quality installs, long-term client relationships, and building a strong internal team.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Lead Structured Cabling & Fiber Technician.The Lead Technician will oversee and participate in the installation, termination, testing, and troubleshooting of structured cabling and fiber systems. This position requires leading small crews, ensuring projects meet certification standards, and maintaining clean, professional job sites.This is not an entry-level position — we are looking for someone who can lead and execute at a high level.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage small cabling crews (2–4 technicians)Install, terminate, and certify Cat6/Cat6A cablingPerform fiber termination and testingOversee rack, MDF, and IDF buildoutsRead and interpret blueprints and riser diagramsEnsure installations meet quality and safety standardsCoordinate with project managers and clients as neededQualifications4+ years of structured cabling experienceProven experience with Cat6 and fiber installation, termination, and testingExperience with Fluke certification testingStrong understanding of rack buildouts and cable managementAbility to work independently and lead teamsStrong problem-solving and communication skillsFamiliarity with safety protocols and jobsite standardsValid driver’s licenseCompensation & Benefits$28 - $36 per hour depending on experienceFull-time, year-round workOvertime opportunitiesGrowth opportunities within a growing technology companyBenefits package (health insurance options, PTO, 401k matching, etc.)
