Java Developer

Job SummaryThe Java Developer will work at a senior level with minimal supervision to design, develop, and support modern software applications. The role requires strong experience with Java, Python, microservices, REST APIs, event-driven architecture, and AWS services. The developer will collaborate effectively with team members, communicate openly, and contribute throughout the software development lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain applications using Java and Python.Develop and support microservices and RESTful APIs.Implement solutions using event-driven architecture patterns.Develop and maintain cloud-based applications using AWS services.Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.Work independently with minimal supervision while proactively identifying and addressing technical issues.Participate in code reviews, development activities, testing, and application support.Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders and contribute to a collaborative engineering environment.Required QualificationsStrong senior-level experience in software development with minimal technical supervision.Strong proficiency in Java and Python.Experience with microservices architecture, REST APIs, and event-driven architecture.Hands-on experience with AWS services including S3, Glue, ECS, DynamoDB, Lambda, and Redshift.Strong experience with Spring Boot.Experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions.Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Kafka.Experience with Supergraph.Experience with IntelliJ.Experience with Control-M.Experience with Honeycomb.Experience with Splunk.
