Operations Specialist - New Branch Expansion

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a "roll up your sleeves" mentality to join our Branch Expansion Team.
Job Summary:
Responsible for ensuring that all new branch locations and their operational sites meet company standards in terms of performance, productivity, and compliance. As a part of the Branch Expansion Team, you will assist in developing strategies that enhance business operations, streamline processes, and maximize profitability across locations.
Summary of Essential Job Functions:
Provide leadership and be a resource to all team members, both during and after the new branch is open.
Ensure the operational performance of new branches, ensuring consistent processes and standards are met.
Facilitate and communicate with multiple contractors, ensuring timely completion of work and adherence to branch opening specifications.
Implement company specific operational strategies and processes.
Provide training and support to new managers and personnel on proper field procedures to ensure productive and quality work, as well as to ensure that assigned equipment (service truck, drill rigs, fusion machines, etc.) is well maintained and kept in good condition.
Ensure health, safety, and regulatory compliance at each location.
Serve as a liaison between new branch locations and the corporate office, communicating updates and resolving operational issues.
Coordinates with LOGISTICS and SALES AND MARKETING to ensure all equipment needs for the initial branch set up and projects can be met prior to committing said resources to the customers
Make routine visits to all major jobsites during installation to ensure quality processes are in place and adhered to and that production rates meet expectations
Helps to ensure the crew understands the expectations of the company respecting job layouts, cleanliness, and that our jobs are set up in a professional manner
Trouble shoots all problems encountered during branch set up and on all projects there after
Helps to ensure the completion of all company reports and paperwork thoroughly and on time
Assists in sales and the request of the Branch Expansion Manager
Aids in determining the appropriate response with regards to all customer service
Assists in developing new methods and procedures, leading the company into new and improved practices and technologies
Implements and enforces all company policies and procedures with respect to field operations
Attends company meetings and industry workshops and conferences when requested
Ensures the Mersino Way is the guiding document in all daily activities
Hiring Specifications:
Required:
Associate degree in Construction Management or related field
3 years' experience as an Operations Manager or managing construction projects, ideally in a multi-location or regional capacity.
A “roll up your sleeves” mentality, with a willingness to complete any task to ensure a smooth branch opening and transition to the new team
Willingness to travel extensively (up to 75% of the time) across various regions.
Planning and organizational skills in handling multiple projects
Proficient in PC software applications
Ability to work well with others in addressing inner organizational issues
Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and/or technical manuals
Knowledge of budgeting, cost estimating and bidding procedures
Knowledge of contract documents and specifications
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train and mentor staff.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field
