Material Handler

Job Description We are seeking a Material Handler to join a growing team in Grant MI 49327 with $18-$20/hour pay for a 3-month, temp to perm opportunity. This role involves working in both indoor and outdoor warehouse/yard environments while supporting daily shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and order fulfillment operations. Candidates should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to safely handle materials and equipment throughout the shift. Steel toe shoes required as part of PPE.Key Responsibilities:Load, unload, and move materials within or near the worksite independentlyFill orders and issue materials and supplies based on requestsOperate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and dolliesPick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficientlyAssist with receiving shipments and pulling ordersMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work environmentFollow all warehouse safety procedures and PPE requirementsWhat we're looking for:Must be at least 18 years oldMust have previous warehouse or receiving experienceAble to frequently lift, push, carry, and slide packages up to 75 lbsAbility to read labels, tickets, and product documentation accuratelyComfortable standing and moving throughout the warehouse in varying temperaturesAbility to work in a fast-paced, organized, and positive environmentStrong verbal and written communication skillsBasic math skills requiredStrong attention to detail and time management skillsRightStone is a strategic partner that works with our clients to place the highest caliber of talent for a wide range of industries and skill sets.
