Whether working to tidy up the lobby or turning over a guest room, our ideal candidate will work quickly and efficiently to ensure a clean environment for all of our clients.If you’re energetic with a knack for cleanliness and customer service, we’d love for you to apply!Overtime Control & Daily PracticesDaily Time & Staffing PracticesReview group timecards daily (start of shift and end of shift)Watch for early clock-ins and late clock-outs; address immediatelyMonitor staff approaching 32–35 hours midweek and adjust assignmentsEnsure staff are clocking in/out only when actively workingScheduling & CoverageAdjust daily room assignments to balance workloads and avoid unnecessary OTUse available staff with lower hours before assigning overtimeCoordinate coverage plans for known call-outs, vacations, or LOAsEscalate staffing gaps early when coverage cannot be absorbed without OTCall-Out & Attendance ManagementDocument all call-outs dailyDistinguish between:Legitimate sick timeExcessive or patterned call-outsAddress repeated call-outs through coaching and corrective action as appropriateAvoid defaulting to OT as the first coverage optionEnd-of-Day ControlsEnsure all rooms and public areas are completed before authorizing OTConfirm no unauthorized OT is workedReview exceptions and correct timecards daily, not at payrollCommunication & EscalationNotify HR and Operations immediately when OT is unavoidableCommunicate vacancy and LOA impacts that are driving OTParticipate in weekly OT and staffing review discussionsManager AccountabilityOvertime must be intentional, approved, and documentedManagers are accountable for timecard accuracy and daily monitoringConsistent enforcement of timekeeping expectations is requiredWhat Success Looks LikeOT is limited to unavoidable operational needsFewer payroll surprisesBalanced workloads across staffImproved morale by reducing forced extra hoursHousekeeping Manager RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED preferredPrevious experience working as a Housekeeper preferredAble to work efficiently both independently and in a teamAble to lift at least 25 poundsExcellent time management skillsGreat customer service skills
