Position: Electrical and Instrumentation EngineerLocation: Austin, TX12 Month Contract with potential for extension Pay Rate: $60-$65 Hourly Based on Experience Looking to HIRE RIGHT AWAY!!Job OverviewSeeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Designer to support industrial and manufacturing projects from concept through construction. This role focuses on producing accurate 3D models and 2D construction deliverables using Autodesk Revit, working closely with engineering, construction, and operations teams.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform electrical and instrumentation design and 3D modeling in Revit, including cable tray, busway, instrumentation, motors, switchgear, enclosures, lighting, conduit, and electrical buildingsDevelop 2D construction drawings in Revit or AutoCAD, including power plans, grounding plans, lighting layouts, motor schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, panel schedules, and instrument loop diagramsManage models and CAD files in BIM360 / Autodesk Construction CloudPerform clash detection and coordinate resolution with multidisciplinary teamsCollaborate with engineering disciplines and support 3D model coordinationParticipate in field walks to verify installation progress and design complianceRequired Skills and ExperienceStrong experience using Revit for electrical and instrumentation designExperience producing 3D models and 2D construction deliverables for industrial or manufacturing environmentsFamiliarity with P&IDs and industrial instrumentation (temperature, flow, pressure, level)Working knowledge of NEC and code‑compliant design practicesAbility to coordinate electrical and instrumentation designs with other disciplinesPreferred Skills and ToolsAutoCADNavisworksReviztoBluebeamExcelEPLAN Pro Panel
