Wet Finisher (Concrete)

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Wet Finisher for a concrete finishing team. As a Wet Finisher, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of concrete quality are met. This position requires strong attention to detail, a good work ethic, and a passion for working with concrete.Concrete Finishing: Apply finishing techniques to freshly poured concrete surfaces, ensuring smoothness, texture, and durability.Surface Preparation: Prepare concrete surfaces by cleaning, smoothing, and leveling them to meet quality standards.Tool Handling: Utilize power trowels, hand tools, and other finishing equipment to achieve the desired finish.Quality Control: Inspect concrete work for defects, ensuring that the final product meets project specifications.Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including concrete laborers, operators, and foremen, to meet project deadlines and safety standards.Site Safety: Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment to prevent accidents.RequirementsProven experience in concrete finishing or related construction experience preferred.Ability to use finishing tools such as trowels, floats, and power trowels.Strong knowledge of different concrete finishes (e.g., smooth, brushed, stamped).Good physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications is a plusPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).Must be able to stand for extended periods and work in varying weather.BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience.Paid time off (PTO) and holidays.- Once hired on permanentlyInsurance benefits- Once hired on permanentlyOpportunities for career advancement and skill development.Safety training and certifications provided.
