Unarmed Security Guard

Job Overview We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, utilizing surveillance techniques and conflict management skills to prevent incidents and ensure safety. Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to maintain oversight of premises. Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, providing first aid or CPR when necessary. Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety within the facility. Conduct regular inspections of property to identify potential security risks or hazards. Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services as needed during incidents. Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, observations, and activities for management review. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or vandalism attempts. Qualifications Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred. Strong understanding of surveillance techniques and conflict management strategies. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security technologies is a plus. Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and collaboration. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
