Do you have the ability to professionally push back and question given results and ask for more details?The Financial Recovery Analyst has the responsibility to advocate for Select Medical and its patients. They will act as a liaison between other departments within the organization to facilitate communication of reimbursement policies, procedures, and resolutions to issues causing delays to cash and accounts receivable management.Manage and resolve outstanding high-dollar insurance claims and aged accounts.Identify billing issues and work with leadership to find solutions.Analyze payment trends and ensure reimbursements align with contracts.Work with payer representatives to resolve claim disputes.Research state and payer regulations to support collections.Train and support colleagues as needed.RequiredProven and exceptional oral and written communication skills (making outbound calls and receiving inbound calls)Strong organization and follow up skillsExcellent problem solving, resolution skillsPrioritization skills and ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to work independently with minimal instruction or supervision (after initial training)Required to be proficient in Windows based office technologies (ex.
