Network EngineerThe DARKWING Program is seeking a highly motivated Network Engineer to join our team in Las Cruces, NM. The successful candidate will spearhead efforts and serve as the prime interface to coordinate and perform program network efforts and activities at our customer site. The candidate should have an engineering background and be familiar with network design, network hardware procurement, network integration, and maintenance of network systems. The candidate must be experienced in troubleshooting network anomalies and failures. They must also be skilled in the set up and maintenance of network switches and routers, have experience with WAN/LAN technologies; specifically, TCP/IP, LAN, and routing protocols, VPN, Firewall configuration and filtering. The candidate must have strong inter-personal and communication skills and is capable of successfully explaining procedures in writing or verbally. Weekend/evening or call in work occasionally required supporting 24X7 operations or maintenance activities.
