Job TypeFull-timeDescriptionThe Sales Project Manager serves as a strategic execution partner to the VP of Sales, translating sales strategy, leadership decisions, and growth initiatives into clear, executable plans with disciplined follow-through and measurable outcomes. This role exists to remove administrative, organizational, and follow-up burden from Sales leadership, ensuring initiatives move from discussion to execution without loss of momentum.RequirementsJob Responsibilities:Act as right-hand partner to the VP of Sales for: Revenue growth initiatives, Sales strategy and training execution, Sales project management, Sales support and allied engineering oversightTranslate high-level discussions into structured execution plans, including: Defined action items, owners, deadlines, and success criteriaEnsure commitments from leadership and cross-functional meetings are actively driven to completionPrevent misalignment between strategy, documentation, reporting, and real-world executionMaintain visibility across initiatives to prevent stalled or abandoned workPartner with the VP of Sales to: Map sales growth plans aligned to revenue objectives, Build phased headcount and capacity models, Model team structure, territories, and reporting linesTranslate growth strategy into practical execution roadmapsCoordinate with HR, Finance, Operations, and other stakeholders to align timing, resources, and capacityOwn end-to-end execution for sales and sales support initiativesBuild and maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, and status trackingEnforce follow-up discipline across: Sales leadership meetings, One-on-ones, Cross-functional initiativesEnsure action items are clearly assigned, actively tracked, reviewed, escalated if blocked, and closedProactively check status with owners rather than waiting for updatesLeverage technology to drive execution—not just documentationConvert plans and notes into actionable tracking systems with clear visibilityReduce reliance on email-based follow-ups through structured tools and workflowsPartner with platforms such as: NetSuite ERP, sales dashboards, report cards, Microsoft 365 (Copilot, Teams, OneNote, Planner, etc.), Project management tools (e.g., Monday)Champion AI adoption by automating repetitive tasks, summarizing data, accelerating reporting, and embedding AI into sales operations workflowsStay current on emerging tools and recommend improvements to how the organization operatesEducation And ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)3–5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Project Management, or a related execution-focused roleProven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects from planning through executionStrong organizational skills with exceptional follow-through and accountability disciplineHigh comfort with technology and execution-oriented toolsAdvanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and executive communicationEarly adopter of AI tools with demonstrated productivity impactClear, concise communicator with executive-level judgmentSelf-starter who takes ownership without needing directionStrong stakeholder management, negotiation, and influence skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-department environmentKey Performance Indicators (KPI's)Sales initiatives consistently move from discussion to executionClear ownership and real-time status visibility across all sales projectsReduced administrative and follow-up burden on the VP of SalesIncreased VP of Sales focus on clients, field engagement, and revenue growthSalary DescriptionSalary Range is $110,000 to $125,000
