Job Description: Class A Driver based out of Portland, OR 97230, Local floater covering local routes doing deliveries to our Auto accounts and must be flexible to help cover team runs. Average weekly gross pay can range between $1,800.00 - $1,900.00 (depending on the route coverage) JOB DETAILS: $2,500 sign on bonus (½ after 90 days ½ after 180 days) Paid Weekly (Friday) Night Shift (dispatch times vary between 6:00PM - 11:00PM) Work Week Schedule: Monday-Friday Home Daily/local (routes are local and some team coverage) Great Benefits and 4 weeks PTO (3 weeks Vacation, 1 week Sick time) Company Driver Requirements: 2 Years of verifiable Tractor Trailer experience with your Valid Class A license. No more than 3 moving violations or a 3 month DL suspension in the last 3 years Must be comfortable with touch freight (auto account deliveries, bulky and loose items) Must have a stable previous work history Must have verifiable employment experience hauling freight through the mountain terrains Must be flexible to start at varies times each week depending on the routes assigned Winter weather driving experience OTR experience Chaining Experience Lift Gate experience Scanner experience Doubles experience Team Driving flexibility Job Type: Full-time Salary: $1,800.00 - $1,900.00 per week Job Requirements: Company Driver Requirements: Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age Must have a high school diploma or GED Minimum 5 years of industry driving experience may be substituted for a high school diploma or GED Must have valid CDL License Minimum 6 months of verifiable CDL A driving experience Doubles endorsement is required Clean motor vehicle record (MVR) No more than 3 moving violations/traffic citations in the past 3 years No more than 2 preventable accidents (chargeable or not) in the last 3 years No DUIs/DWIs in the past 5 years Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen Must be able to read, write and speak English Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 45 miles of Portland, OR.
