Make an Impact.Chelsea Piers is seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Early Childhood Teacher to join our CP Kids Early Learning Center team. In this full-time role, you will lead a classroom of children from infant age to 5 years old, creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where learning comes to life through play.This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who thrives on creativity, collaboration, and connection. You will play a key role in shaping early childhood experiences, supporting developmental milestones while building meaningful relationships with both children and families.Our CP Kids Daycare and Preschool offers a unique learning environment, featuring nine vibrant classrooms and access to world-class athletic facilities, creating unmatched opportunities for movement-based learning, exploration, and fun.Primary ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement a dynamic, creative, and age-appropriate curriculumLead and support Assistant Teachers, fostering a collaborative classroom environmentEngage with children throughout the day through developmentally appropriate play and structured activitiesMaintain consistent, thoughtful communication with parents regarding each child’s development (verbal and written)Plan and lead daily gross motor activities to support physical developmentOrganize and manage daily classroom schedules and routinesCollaborate effectively with team members across the Early Learning CenterDocument and share weekly evidence of learning (activities, projects, photos, etc.)Start Date: June 2026Schedule: Full-Time; Monday-Friday; daycare hours are 7:30am-6:00pm – you will work five 8-hour shifts within this time frameCompensation: Starting at $40,000 per yearBenefitsComplimentary Fitness Club membershipChelsea Piers discounts for you and your familyHalf off daycare at CP Kids Early Learning CenterHealth, dental and vision insurance401(K) with company match Paid vacation and sick time Holiday pay Click here for Chelsea Piers’ comprehensive list of benefits.QualificationsQualificationsBachelor’s degree (Education or related field preferred)Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Lead or Assistant Teacher in an early childhood setting (or similar experience)Lead Teacher certification preferredExperience working with children ages 3 months to 5 years old Warm, patient, energetic, and nurturing personalityStrong interpersonal and written communication skillsAbility to lift up to 30 poundsThis position is based at Chelsea Piers Athletic Club in Stamford, ConnecticutChelsea Piers is an Equal Opportunity Employer
