To serve as Instructional Leader/Coach of Classroom Teachersa. Team-Teachb. Model Lessonsc. Provide Classroom Supportd. Participate in Grade-Level Lesson Planning, Assessments, & DataDisaggregationII. To research, share, and model teaching strategies that have proven effective inimproving student performance through weekly professional learning communities(PLC's)III. To observe and critique teaching methods and to assist teachers in implementingresearch-based teaching strategies aligned with the Louisiana Student StandardsIV. To make recommendations to the principal relative to teacher performance andevaluationV. To provide job-embedded support and guidance to teachersVI. To plan and implement professional development activities with principals and teachersVII. To analyze student performance data and align curriculum to meet the objectives of theschool improvement planVIII. To ensure the integrity and validity of all assessments administered and that allassessments are aligned with state assessments, Louisiana Student Standards, andGrade-Level ExpectationsIX. To analyze results of summative assessments to determine student growth and identifystrengths and weaknessesX. To report on curriculum and instruction to the principalXI. To establish and execute a professional growth planXII. To work effectively and foster open communication with school personnel and staffXIII. To submit accurate records and report promptlyXIV. To exhibit professional ethics and consistently demonstrate self-directionXV. To foster open communication and positive relationships with school personnel and staffXVI.
