Bistro Line Cook

Provides support as a member of the Culinary & Events team. Focuses include frozen food preparation and packaging, grab and go food preparation and packaging, event and café menu preparation and execution. Additionally, you will be trained on regular duties including counter service, sanitation, event execution, new recipe execution, stocking of products and other applicable duties.Primary ResponsibilitiesCuts, prepares and packages a variety of foods to be frozenMaintain expected stock levels of frozen foods in stores and backstockDate products and continually monitor refrigerator/freezers for product freshnessReceive and process in ingredients and suppliesCommunicate effectively about needed ingredients to sustain expected food productionExecute and give feedback on new recipes and menu optionsMaximizes sales potential through effective and proper procedures for prepping, storing and rotating stockWork the café counter and POS system to help customers with culinary purchases in the café as neededAssist in events by setting up buffets with food presentation standards and practices in mind, ensuring safe food handling performanceMaintains and ensures the maintenance of a clean and sanitary working and shopping environmentAdhere to all applicable laws when serving alcoholMaintain knowledge of policies and proceduresMaintain positive and professional attitudeArrive to work appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work
