Additional Information About the RolePlease read the information in this job post thoroughly to understand exactly what is expected of potential candidates.Up to a $1500 Sign On BonusThis is a 40 hour per week Community Outreach Case Worker positionYou will assist clients by linking them to community resources, such as housing and food assistanceYou will work out in the communities with clients daily (you do not work inside the agency location)Monday – Friday (Day Shift) – ( NO On-Call, Nights, Weekends or Holidays required)Local travel is required and you must have your own personal reliable vehicle with valid insuranceYou must have a valid CLASS E or CLASS D driver's license required – (if you do not, you must obtain one within two weeks prior to your start date)You will be asked to transport clients in your own personal vehicleAny mileage you put on your vehicle while working in the community will be reimbursed back to youYou will be asked to meet with clients face to faceYou will be asked to meet with clients in their homesYou will be required to connect with all your clients in person on a regular basisRelated work experience with individuals suffering from mental health challenges strongly preferred (NOT REQUIRED)You will be working with individuals that suffer from severe mental health issuesThis position will carry a caseload that may vary; in-depth training xtnlbfm is providedTraining will take place during your first 90 days and will sufficiently prepare you for this type of work (must be able to learn new things quickly and have a strong ability to use technology)May be eligible for loan repayment assistance from the National Health Service Corps (NHSC).The link to the program is to apply is through March 31.Overview
