Field Supervisor
OverviewTechcom LLC is seeking an experienced OSP Field Supervisor to support aerial and underground fiber construction operations across active telecommunications projects.This position is responsible for overseeing daily field activities, supporting construction crews, maintaining quality and safety standards, and ensuring work is completed according to project requirements. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong field experience and the ability to keep crews productive and projects moving forward.ResponsibilitiesOversee daily activities of aerial and underground fiber construction crewsCoordinate work assignments and monitor production progressConduct field inspections to ensure quality standards are metIdentify and resolve field issues affecting productivity or project schedulesEnforce company safety policies and jobsite compliance requirementsCommunicate with Project Managers, Construction Managers, inspectors, and utility representativesReview work completed and verify compliance with project specificationsSubmit daily production reports and field updatesAssist with training, coaching, and development of field personnelSupport equipment, material, and workforce coordination in the fieldRequirements3+ years of experience in telecommunications or fiber constructionPrevious experience as a Foreman, Lead, Supervisor, or similar field leadership roleStrong understanding of aerial and underground construction practicesAbility to read construction drawings and project documentationStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsCommitment to safety, quality, and production standardsValid driver's licenseAbility to travel between project sites as neededPreferred QualificationsFTTH construction experienceExperience managing multiple crewsExperience working with telecommunications contractors and utility providersCompensationCompetitive compensation based on experience.Application QuestionsHow many years of telecommunications or fiber construction experience do you have?How many years of experience do you have leading field crews?Are you willing to travel between active project sites as needed?
