We offer complete design-build capabilities with expertise in power distribution, fire alarm, lighting, and MEP coordination.Position SummaryThe Electrical Engineer will own the full electrical design lifecycle — from schematic concept through construction completion — on diverse building projects. This mid-level role (2–5 years experience) is 100% in-office in White Plains, combining technical design in AutoCAD and Revit with leadership responsibilities: mentoring junior staff, developing documentation standards, and conducting site visits to ensure design intent is properly implemented.Key ResponsibilitiesLead electrical design from concept through construction documentationDesign code-compliant power distribution, fire alarm, lighting, and grounding systemsProduce construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit (2D/3D BIM workflows)Ensure compliance with NEC, ICC, and NFPA codes throughout all design phasesCoordinate with MEP, structural, civil, and architectural disciplines; perform clash detectionMentor junior engineers and maintain documentation and BIM standardsPrepare specifications, equipment schedules, and technical calculationsReview shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and attend project meetingsRequired QualificationsBS in Electrical Engineering; PE license preferred (or obtain within 2 years)Proficient in AutoCAD; advanced Revit MEP/BIM skillsWorking knowledge of NEC, ICC, and NFPA codesExperience with load calculations, voltage drop analysis, and short circuit studiesStrong communication skills for client and contractor coordination
