Based in Gonzales, CA, we work at the intersection of agriculture and cutting-edge engineering to bring practical, scalable solutions to growers.Position OverviewMantis Ag Technology is seeking an experienced and driven Mechatronics Program Manager to lead the development and execution of complex mechatronic systems across our product portfolio. This role will oversee cross-functional programs that integrate mechanical, electrical, and software engineering, ensuring successful delivery from concept through commercialization.The Mechatronics Program Manager will play a critical leadership role in aligning engineering efforts with business objectives while driving timelines, managing resources, and mitigating risks. This position reports directly to the General Manager and will have a significant impact on the direction and success of our technology initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end program management for mechatronic product development initiativesCoordinate cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, software, and field operationsDevelop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgetsDrive execution to meet milestones, deliverables, and performance targetsIdentify and mitigate technical and program risks proactivelyServe as the primary point of contact between engineering, leadership, and external partnersCollaborate with product and field teams to translate customer needs into technical requirementsEnsure successful system integration, testing, and validation of mechatronic solutionsSupport continuous improvement of program management processes and best practicesQualifications Required:Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field5+ years of program or project management experience in a hardware/software integrated environmentStrong understanding of mechatronic systems, including mechanical design, electronics, and embedded softwareProven experience managing complex, cross-functional engineering projectsExcellent organizational, leadership, and communication skillsPreferred:Advanced degree (MS or MBA)Experience in agricultural technology, robotics, or automation systemsFamiliarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) and agile development methodologiesPMP or similar certificationCompensation & Benefits Salary: $150,000 – $175,000 annually, depending on experienceEligible for annual bonusCompany-provided truckComprehensive health, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off (PTO)Opportunity to work on cutting-edge agricultural technology with real-world impactWork Environment This role is based in Gonzales, CA, and involves collaboration across office, lab, and field environments.
