If this sounds like an environment where you can thrive, keep reading!About the RoleWe are seeking a Senior Appian Engineer to support the design and development of scalable Appian solutions that modernize enterprise workflows and improve operational transparency. This position is well suited for experienced Appian engineers who are comfortable working independently, contributing to architecture discussions, and delivering secure, high-performing applications.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop Appian applications using SAIL, Process Models, Records, Reports, CDTs, and expression rules.Leverage Appian Data Fabric and external data sources to create efficient, maintainable data structures.Contribute to solution design decisions, including data modeling, integration strategies, and application scalability.Develop and maintain integrations using REST APIs, Web APIs, Connected Systems, and integration objects.Apply best practices for security, object reuse, performance optimization, and maintainability.Support CI/CD deployment activities and coordinate promotions across environments.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in development, test, and production environments.Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to refine requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide story-level estimates.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.Required Skills5+ years of Appian development experience, including experience with enterprise applications.Experience designing and working with Appian Data Fabric, including record types, data modeling, and integration with external data sources.Strong experience with SAIL, Process Models, Records, and application object design.Experience building and supporting API-based integrations.Solid understanding of data modeling, performance considerations, and Appian security configurations.Experience working in Agile development environments.Ability to independently manage development tasks from design through deployment.Preferred SkillsAppian certification (Associate, Level 2+, or higher).Experience contributing to application design or architectural discussions.Experience supporting regulated or public sector environments.This position requires U.S. citizenship or Legal Permanent Resident Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of the Interior (DOI) Background Investigation (BI) clearance.Equal Opportunity StatementTechnatomy Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
