Cloud Engineer

Headquartered in Miami, Florida, with service centers in London and Singapore, DASI is a truly global partner, serving customers’ parts and inventory needs in more than 140 countries.Purpose: At DASI, the Cloud Engineering Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the stability, reliability, and performance of an organization’s systems and services. They lead teams, drive strategy, and ensure alignment with organizational goals while fostering collaboration between DevOps teams and champion best practices in cloud security, compliance, and operational excellence to support DASI’s digital transformation and growth in the online marketplace. Additionally, they focus on managing the hands-on work of building, automating, and troubleshooting systems.Key accountabilities: Lead and mentor a diverse Reliability Engineering team which includes admins, architects, and engineers. Manage a cloud strategy aligned with business objectivesImplement and oversee a cloud infrastructure design, implementation, and optimizationManage budgets and optimize resource utilizationDrive adoption of cloud best practices and security standardsCollaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirementsEstablish SLI’s, SLO’s, and SLA’s metrics for cloud operationsEnsure high availability and disaster recovery readinessLead technical decision-making for cloud platforms and toolsSupport mission-critical systems for global customersPerform all other duties as assignedKey skills and competences:Possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.Shows an eagerness to learn and develop skills.Has a high degree of self-direction, motivation, and energy.Develop and encourage team members.Experience and qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, Salesforce)Proven track record of successfully managing a teamExperience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, Containerization and MonitoringExposure to compliance or regulatory frameworks is a plus, but not required.Aerospace background or experience is a plus, but not required.DASI, LLC. and group companies are an Equal Opportunities Employer
