Aurora Technologies, Inc. is a custom machine shop leading the industry in thermosets and thermoplastics. We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team in the Saw Department. The ideal candidate for this position will have basic computer knowledge, the ability to read a tape measure, and have forklift experience. Blueprint knowledge is not required, but would be a benefit. Starting rate is based on experience starting at $18 and up. Job Description: Operate a Water and/or Chop Saw Understand quality and production within company specifications, goals, and objectives. Comply with all safety and environmental rules and regulations; comply with internal ATI practices. Support all 6S and lean initiatives. Report any issues to the Production Supervisor. Maintain proper training, tools, and materials to carry out his/her duties. Required Knowledge and Skills: Must possess basic computer operation skills Can read tape measures, calipers, and other Ability to complete basic math and read a tape measure Forklift experience is preferred, but not required Blueprint reading experienced is preferred, but not required Some experience in manufacturing Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or GED equivalent Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 40 lbs. Ability to stand and walk for up to eight hours Ability to bend and squat Ability to work in an environment without a controlled temperature
