By acting as an internal talent extension, Schechter Reed provides specialized staffing solutions for industries ranging from government contracting to finance and non-profits.Position:Our newly-created Internship is designed to introduce students to the sought-after recruiting profession. Interns will gain familiarity with popular recruiting tactics including: identifying and sourcing candidate profiles on LinkedIn, identifying appropriate job boards and communities for postings, screening resumes, generating referrals, drafting candidate summaries for presentation, running Boolean Logic searches in applicant tracking system, phone interviewing and drafting candidate summaries for client presentation.Qualifications:In this critical role, we seek a highly-motivated student with professional maturity, curiosity, creativity to think outside the box, strong interpersonal skills, a passion for business and the ability to accept and adapt to constructive feedback. Must have impeccable professional and character references.Key Responsibilities:In collaboration with company President, devise and execute candidate research strategy for current searchesAssure each client search maintains a healthy pipeline of candidatesGenerate business-savvy research to stay on top of industry trendsAnalyze recruiting metrics including days-to-fill, offer/acceptance rates, etc.Check referencesResearch and identify new recruiting outlets and methods*Ideal candidate will reside in Washington, D.C. area in Summer 2026 and be able to work part-time hours in office.Role is open to current undergraduates in a 4-year program, or to recent graduates with 0-3 years work experience.
